Privacy & cookies

How we handle personal information and what, if anything, this website stores on your device.

Who we are

This website is run by Insightsoft, based in Bromley, UK. If you have any questions about this notice or your data, email us at [email protected].

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your name, email address and anything you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to deal with any work that follows, and we keep it only for as long as that takes. We never sell or share it for marketing.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type so that it can deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks.

Visitor statistics without cookies

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device, and does not track you across websites or build a profile of you.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies unless you choose to allow analytics cookies. When you first visit we ask for your permission, and nothing is set until you click Accept.

If you accept, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example which pages are viewed and how people find us), so that we can improve it. Advertising features are switched off.

Cookie Set by Purpose Expires
_ga Google Analytics Distinguishes visitors so visits can be counted 2 years
_ga_KSD7D4WGWD Google Analytics Keeps track of the current visit 2 years

Google processes this information on our behalf and may transfer it outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (cookie-consent), which is needed so we don't ask you on every page.

Changing your mind: use the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of any page. If you withdraw consent, Google Analytics stops and its cookies are removed.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Just email [email protected].

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
